You Get to Be Seen, Heard, Felt, & Loved

December 7, 2022

Visibility is a topic that comes up a lot in my courses, and among my clients. So many of us grow up in “be seen, not heard” environments.

A childhood in which you were only worthy of love if you spoke no beliefs that went against your tribe.

A childhood in which you were only as worthy as your achievements.

You were only as worthy as your ability to fulfill your parent’s emotional needs.

You were only as worthy as your ability to repress all your messy childish emotions, in order to appear well-behaved.

You were only as worthy as your willingness to avoid any action that evoked guilt, shame, or embarrassment – especially with anything involving creative expression.

These are the kinds of moments that kickstart the journey to reclaim our voices and use them to understand ourselves, and to fulfill our purpose, our desires, our needs.

And if your childhood was filled with those kinds of moments, then you never got much practice being loved – and loving yourself – for who you really are.

So how do you practice getting to experience, know, and love these dimensions of yourself now?

That’s where I come in. I love using my gifts of expressive arts and intuitive guidance to support your path of holistic integration and creative fulfillment.
